Well now, it's Saturday and I didn't really achieve much today...
Here's a tip though - stop putting your laptop to sleep - shut it down instead...
Since I decided to do this, touch wood, mine has been running pretty much flawlessly, compared to the weeks prior to that decision...
Anyway, didn't write this pre breakfast - got caught up in other nonsense (including listening to yesterday's CD from the CD box of the day)...

Tried a new ambient piece, based on Ray Conniff's take on "Unchained Melody"...
Scrapped with zero to show for the time spent....
The soundtrack for the rest of the day comprised new to me raucous early ECM, via Sid Smith, Argent live, 2 CDs from Boxes of the Day, new releases, CBQ's lost Bacharach & David EP and the podcast long list...
Highlights were the new Alice Merton, the early ECM and a soundtrack by Hildur Guðnadóttir...

We just read the synopsis and moved on...

This evening, Anne was off out to watch Hearts lose 4-3 on penalties after 1-1 draw with Falkirk in the Scottish Cup (only forcing extra time via a penalty in the last 5 minutes)...
Prior to that, a makeshift but enjoyable tea had been enjoyed...
I kept my eye on the game whilst compiling this week's podcast, which I should get recorded and out tomorrow...
Anne arrived back just after I'd finished watching the highlights of the game...
A catch up and off to bed just before midnight...
