Happy birthday today to chum of almost 44 years, Jorg Sonnenschein...

Here, a portrait I made of him...

Didn't look too promising today, but I wasn't intending on going out...

I was, however, up rather early...

Some listening back to the new mix of what is now "4083"...

...and working on some ambient remixes - which, of course, sound nothing like the originals...

Ten tracks created...

Later today, I would add treated field recordings to the pieces, taking the LP up to around 67 mins...

Also, set up the room for today's Leith Dockers set run though with Impossible John...

...who arrived bang on time at 10 am, with his bass...

He left at 2:30, having spent around 3.5 hours with me going through the 36 songs, recorded for posterity and using drum backing tracks rather the band recordings...

An hour or so's break for chat coffee and biscuits with Anne was also enjoyed...

Late afternoon was spent editing the session and sending it out...

Actually sounded not too bad at all considering this was the first time playing in this configuration...

Some "Monk" and ambient playback this evening and that was it really...

Another good music day...
