First thing, writing this up...

..and, by way of a kind of band rehearsal, listening back to the current reference setlists - (6:30 - 9:00) - not listened for a while as I've been concentrating on CBQ - better than I recalled...

Car loaded up then, toasted sausage sandwich for breakfast...

Off to pick up Paul for today's proceedings with the boys in the band...

Today we set up all facing the same way in a kind of dress rehearsal but without the dresses...

 

First two sets played with reasonable accuracy pre a biscuit, coffee, who's coming to the gig (not many people) chat break...

Popped outside to record the set up - it will be wider on the day...

My voice went to buggery (for the first time in a couple of years it must be said) in the middle of the 3rd set, ruining four songs but, as far as the recordings were concerned, some work this evening would disguise that buggeration reasonably...

My BeReal call popped up just as we started the fourth set...

In all, very little in the way of actual arse ups, before one final chat out at the cars...

All set for next Sunday...

I was off duty re today's mum visit, nephew Ali taking it on in my stead - however, he reported, after Friday's upbeat position, that, despite having had a good visit, mum is back on oxygen, her blood pressure is very low and heart rate is very high...

It's ups and downs every day it seems...

Took Paul into town before peeling off and heading home, where Anne had been busy cleaning and tidying and had done her back in mucking about with the content of this cupboard...

Nicely done though...

Anne shopped while I edited and sent out the tracks...

Superb chili for tea...

...as we watched the Horrible Histories film about the Romans and Boudica - or Boadicea as we knew her at school...

Then, a listen back, only to discover the splits in the third and fourth sets were, in technical terms, away to fuck - so a couple more hours this evening sorting that out and resending the tracks out to the guys...

Listening back while Anne watched footie highlights and crossworded...

Lights out just before midnight...

A reasonable Sunday...
