A call from Anne's mum at 5:15...

Sadly, she no longer seems to have any concept of time...

Accordingly, I could not sleep and so, arose just before 6...

...and set about compiling this week's Top 30...

Eight new entries...

Discussion on Twitter re putting CDs into plastic sleeves - something I did a long time ago re all my CD-R burns but cannot bring myself to do with the actual CDs...

Speaking of Twitter, installed "Brave" onto my phone as my way of accessing said site - and , now, no ads whatsoever...

So, if you're fed up with wading through crap on Twitter...

1. Use "Brave" to use Twitter on your phone - no Ads
2. Apply Adblock to Twitter on your laptop - no Ads
3. Never, ever, look at "For You" - full of shite
4. Choose who you follow wisely - no shite

Follow those 4 rules and Twitter is fine - kind of - but I do wonder what the point is of having thousands of followers when only a few seem ever to see any posts and fewer still actually interact...

BlueSky, which is supposed to be the good version of Twitter, and Mixcloud, re the podcasts, are the same...

Why do these people follow me?

So, so annoying...

Anyway...

This afternoon, rehearsed (without recording) my proposed three song set for Out of the Bedroom on Thursday (if I get a slot)...

"Callingstill"
"A Nice Job in a Small Town"
"If I Fall"

Sounded quite good...

And Sid Smith sent me down a Kenny Wheeler shaped rabbit hole (see below)...

This evening, some very entertaining "Monk" and a nice fox in the garden, seen here, exiting...

Finished off the day by falling asleep to the quite magnificent Yello...

Highlight of the Day : Stopping Ads on Twitter...
