Prepped yesterday's entry first thing but, for the first time in a while did not write it (rectified tomorrow morning, before writing this)...

Some research into a reported Hardware error on 4 April - to zero avail - I understand hee-haw about computers...

Anyway, restarted...

..and ready to go again...

Released the latest podcast into the wild...

Then, chose three songs to play at the next OOTB...

"Very Small" from "Deeperdown" (2005), "Starting to Worry" from "Ersatzreal" (2007) and "The Western Edge" from Sombre Reptile's "Liverysilver" (1991)...

On rehearsing them, very quietly amnd, indeed, slowly, I stumbled upon a new way of playing my songs and did so re around 15 or so of them and it sounded good - but, sadly, I did not record the performance...

Which was a big mistake...

At 10:30 over to Anne's mum's...

We were off out to purchase birthday cards for brother in law Keith and nephew Olly...

To Mortonhall Garden Centre, soundtracked by my yesterday or the day before created CBQ Songs playlist...

Mary advised she liked it, didn't know who it was but somehow knew some of them...

Well...

That's much better than "It just sounds like some banging, son"...

Coffee and cake ensued...

Mary and I shared cherry and strawberry based tarts...

...while Anne enjoyed top notch Lemon Cake...

An old lady was happy...

Back to her apartment, exactly two hours since we'd left...

Cards written and prepped and medications and lunch prepared before we left...

Out into the coming storm (which, to be fair, kind of came to nothing)..

...although sister in law Jane reported a flooded basement and electrical failure...

Back home, I recorded the three songs mentioned above, in the "new style" but it just wasn't the same as this morning...

I wonder if I'll ever recapture that...

Why didn't I record?

A new discovery this afternoon via Sid Smith, Guapo...

Which was much better than Queens going down 2-1 at home to Kelty Hearts (meanwhile, the real Hearts won 2-1 in Paisley)...

This evening, a Chinese secured, Chicken Satay for Anne, while I opted for the same as last week...

A shame for the duck of course...

"Taskmaster" enjoyed, followed by some new music and prepping for tomorrow's final band rehearsal pre the gig next Sunday, taking down my set up I've been using for my own work over the last week or so...

Ended the day with an "Almost Paradise", as we moved into the 10 episodes of the second and, at present, Final Season...

To bed with CBQ playing the Capital Models sets in the cans...

Highlight of the Day : A quiet rehearsal which, sadly, was not recorded for posterity...
