Outside, it was lovely and Anne was off to Zumba and coffee and cake with Lynn...

At lunch time another "Beck" - just one to watch...

Wiped all the music from my phone and started to reload with 2023 acquisitions (tomorrow I would wipe those) and the first of my annual Top 100 LPs lists, 1973...

At 6:30 we drove to Roslin and I dropped Anne off for a meet up with chum Lorraine for a night out - then, on to Penicuik to see Creeker Stu's new house and to deliver Lynn's steamer machine on loan...

Much discussion as to the pros and cons of woodchip wall paper removal...

Then, to Koshi for a slap up feed...

As illustrated by his reaction to the mixed pakora starter, Stu is not one for the spiciness...

He did, however, enjoy...

...his Lamb Passanda...

...as did I the Lamb Jahlfrezi...

...and Aloo Gobi...

...and rice and naan and Indian Beers and Diet Coke...

Good chat, including Seinfeld, retirement, work, jogging, football, exercise bikes, living in small towns, mums etc etc...

And music...

Then, a constitutional, past the graveyard - with tales of boyhood pranks...

...to the Town Hall and Main Square, before giving Stu a lift to his mum's and back to Roslin to pick Anne up...

Chat with the ladies and Lorraine's husband before the drive home, which was slightly elongated by a road works related diversion...

Back to the machines at 11:15...

..and to bed with a 1973 selection from Paul McCartney...
