Ok Wednesday it was and up, reasonably stupidly early...
...but doing so afforded a good view...
Others were also recorded...
...and Fang entered just after 6 and was coaxed upstairs for some goodies...
Later on, he relaxed on the sofa...
...before breakfast was enjoyed...
Some time spent recording the first concert from the Queens Hall this year (instead of going along)...
Stefan Jackiw and Friends...
Works by Brahms and MacMillan but one by Ives was not included...
Not to worry...
I also worked on a new Creek remix re "Swiss Army Knife", which was good...
This afternoon, another Top 10 Podcast...
...and, this evening, off to the football...
Before...
After...
I spent the whole of the second half in goal but, unlike my usual goalkeeping performances, I let in zero goals...
In one bizarre incident, I tipped a raker of a shot onto the bar and turned to see where the ball had gone, only for it to hit me on the shins and head for the net...
I managed to blooter it to the side at the last moment, where it clattered off the post and, luckily, made its way out of the goal and was then headed to safety by old chum Mickey...
Howls of laughter all round...
So, 2-2 at half time, 6-2 for us at the close of play...
Back home for a top notch home made Shepherd's Pie from the EP...
...and we watched more of "Wild Bill"...
While much new music came in today, including these...
...a Whatsapp convo with tomorrow birthday boy Count Brodski, led to this being my close of play listening...
Lights out...
Highlight of the Day : Not letting in any goals...
