Tuesday and some work to be done...
But, before that, noting today would have been Crispy the Kitten's 39th birthday...
Looked like a good day ahead...
I wouldn't be playing any of these...
Breakfast prep...
Tasty!
On looking through the shelf in the living room, I did not recall having listened to the 50th last CD purchased...
It was Koen Holtkamp's 2CD collection, "Motion: Connected Works"...
It was excellent ambience, and sent me down a Koen Holtkamp shaped rabbit hole (see below)...
I also nabbed some Gov't Mule for Prog Rock Willie and, thanks to a random post of a Soul Jazz Records comp on the Twitter, I went down another, even larger rabbit hole, this time a Soul Jazz Compilation shaped one, emerging with around 45 of them (see below)...
Oh dear...
Some Blue Note comps and some Gary Glitter sneaked in too - and a top LP from a couple of years back from Glitter Band leader John Rossall (who has since departed the planet) was also partaken of...
Lunch was potatoes and peas (Anne was out lunching with chum Debbie)...
Looks dreadful but was, yes, you've guessed it, tasty...
The ketchup was a masterstroke...
In the afternoon, I got down to collating "stems I'd like to use" re my proposed Newcastle performance in January...
And the first experiments re the piece led to an hour long continuous mix emerging shortly before midnight...
At which point, lights out...
Highlight of the Day : Working on music...
