The second concert at the Queens Hall we might have attended was recorded from Radio 3 for posterity...

A discussion today on the Twitter re available cycles of Beethoven's Complete String Quartets - I noted I have "only" these two sets...

And so an almost illegible list was made, using this handy blog from Twitter Chum, Jens F Laurson...

...and I spent much of the day downloading 24 new to me renderings of the magnificent 16 quartets (plus a few extras), taking my quotient to 26...

Also nabbed the (unpictured here but see below) work of Claudio Colombo who, over 7 discs, has transcribed the entire set of quartets for solo piano!

On telly, "Wild Bill" came to an end - pity it was never recommissioned - and we found a new thing called "Beck" from Sweden, shown last year on BBC Four - the first of the 4 we have is actually episode 43!

Coffee was required late on...

...as Hearts lost 2-1 in Trondheim to Rosenborg, while Hibs beat Zurich 3-1...
