Xmas is not over, by a long chalk - well, there's still at least today to go that is...

So, up...

...and to the machines...

...beside which still sat Anne's Milano Jukeboxes back to 1998...

I have money but the shops are, generally, shut...

Wait, are they?  No...

Ordered a onesie pre 9 am...

...as I was jealous of how cosy Anne has been over the last few days...

While I wrote up the six days of this to Xmas Day, I gave Eno, a present from two years ago, a spin...

Annoyingly, I noted the hole is not quite centred...

This makes the LP unplayable for me I'm afraid...

It remains nice to look at though...

And that's why vinyl is an absolute shit format compared to CD (not to mention the latter's far more authentic sound reproduction)...

At 2, over to Jane and Bob's for Boxing Day celebrations with Olly, Kitty and Mary...

The new calendar, the tenth I think, was perused and enjoyed...

...and, no doubt, this pic will feature in next years'

Down in the kitchen, as the prep neared its end, Kitty said this was her best look...

...and Rafa said this was his...

Curried pumpkin soup...

...with lovely bread...

Sadly unpictured fish items, included prawns in blankets...

Crackers were pulled and hats were donned...

Xmas veg...

...expertly cooked beef, kilted sausages and roasted potatoes...

One of Jane's famous roulades...

Raspberry panna cotta...

Prosecco with gold leaf...

...which, contrary to Olly's shout, is not so that it cuts the inside of your throat to get the alcohol into your blood stream more quickly...

Then, "Articulate"...

Anne's face says it all re Bob's dismal performance in all but one turn of this game in three different teams...

However, much fun was had - Mary's shouts of "horizon" and "twig" and Kitty's of "duck-beaked platypus" all highlights...

Back upstairs and Mary advising that Rafa was doing ok despite being "quite old for a cat" was also a good one...

Soon it was time for a lift home from Olly, which involved 15 minutes sitting in the car outside the house waiting for the windows to defrost...

Mary safely delivered, we were then too taken home - thanks Olly!

After a while, your correspondent was snoozing on the sofa and, around 11:30 it was time for bed...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Boxing Day at Jane and Bob's...
