Still super cold...
..and so, hot porridge for breakfast...
..before shopping for us and for my mum...
...including fuel...
I painstakingly put together a possible Eclectic Selection for next week, going back to my formula as regards types of music juxtaposed to each other but maintaining the seven LPs of the day concept...
Having secured some salmon, it was enjoyed as part of a tasty lunch...
...before taking Anne into town for a meet up with chum Lorraine for Xmas drinks...
I headed down to Stockbridge and bought my first CDS of December and my first for just under a month, pictured here later back home...
Here, her face while listening to “Disquietmusik VI”...
Despite her jaunty demeanour, not 100% sure she likes it…
“It’s not much of a tune really, it’s just you striking your guitar. I’m not sure there’s much music in it”. Cheeky monkey!
Anyway, home to start the listening and ripping...
These were 4 for £10 in VoxBox...
As were these...
I have these two already, of course but always good to have the "Original Masters", released in 2004...
Some of the recordings on this are a bit dodgy but, overall it's OK...
This triple set was making up the numbers...
These were £1 each from the back room...
Turns out the CD in this is unplayable and unrippable - luckily I found the content on the net...
A quick pop into the Shelter shop and I got these three for a further £7...
I have this already - so it's going to be a wee present for Creeker Stu...
This was a nice find - top repertoire...
Home made soup for tea...
And some "Astrid" and the welcome return of "Strike" and the weekend was over once again...
Onwards!
Highlight of the Day : Buying some CDs...
