Xmas Eve, the best day of the year, I think...
I was up early to record the second half of the podcast and get it up online...
Post breakfast, we popped out for a walk down the hill and a look round what passes for "the shops" down there...
This wee monkey lit up the day on the way down...
On we went...
A look in GuitarGuitar, noting nice white bass guitars and guitars...
But bread was our only purchase and an hour and a half or so later, we were back...
Lunch was followed by, of course, "It's a Wonderful Life"...
I seemed to have something in my eye at various moments...
An accidental pic of the sofa was taken - no doubt an album cover at some point down the line...
Fang enjoyed the film too of course...
Almost 3 hours of fun...
Fizzy wine was enjoyed as Xmas Eve tea was prepped...
...and declared to be the best Xmas Eve Tea ever...
A film was stumbled upon on Netflix and much enjoyed, "RIPD" (Rest in Peace Dept) with Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges...
Then to creating the final present for Anne, my annual round up of "the best" music of the year...
This year's is the 25th of the series, which started with a box of 7 or 8 CDs back at Xmas 1998...
With that done and burned and wrapped, I put the playlist on the phone and went back downstairs to listen on the headphones while Anne watched TV...
Of course, I was soon asleep...
Almost Xmas...
