Merry Xmas everybody...

Up comparatively late (although I'd been awake ,off and on, since 3:30 - cos it was Xmas Day) and, first things first, there was a new LP to let out into the wild...

...no new LPS would be being added to this, unlike the Brian Eno one a couple of years back (which I'm playing, tomorrow, as I write this)...

Downstairs around 9...

Presents awaited...

..in a festive room...

...but breakfast prepped pre present opening...

BLT for Mr Quartet...

We did not go overboard this year...

Anne's presents - the blue box is a new painting for her to work on...

For me...

From Ali and Julie...

..and from Keith and Maureen...

My main present was this set of 10 discs of 20th Century music...

Orange Gin - first enjoyed on our trip to Durham in September...

Plus some required items...

There were two bags of these - quickly gone...

Post the Xmas EP, the Milano Jukebox entertained as we sat and relaxed and read...

One of the neighbour's kids were set for a good time...

Fang popped by but we couldn't let him in as we were off out - so some goodies were provided at the front door - his wee sister Rocky turned up and looked on enviously...

At 1, round to Jane and Bob's for a quick meet up - we will return tomorrow...

Then, out to my mum's with her present from me, Sheila, Anne and Senior...

To say she was delighted would be to be putting it mildly...

As the afternoon progressed, reports came in from around the families...

Harris liked his present from us...

...as did Dougie...

...and Lockie...

...and these from Jorg and Manu in Gensungen - Manu has now moved in and the house is looking more and more homely as the renovation progresses...

Back in Loanhead, we'd arrived at the Radhuni...

Crackers pulled and hats on...

Top starters - chicken tikka, fish cakes...

...and the largest portion of chicken cutlets in Christendom...

Luckily, there was a good long wait for the mains...

Vegetable Jalfrezi...

Chicken Korma...

Lamb bhuna...

...with rice and naan...

Now that's what we call an Xmas dinner...

Home around 6, noting the Xmas Hamper supplied to mum by Ali and Julie...

...and providing her with a post glide up the ramp back into the house cup of tea before setting off home...

...where "Ghosts" was enjoyed with coffee and a couple of these each...

Then to some ripping and listening as Anne caught up with her Xmas TV...

Ten new CDs into the collection...

Lights out around 11:30...

Xmas Day over...

Another good one...

Highlight of the Day : It was Xmas Day,...
