Spent most of the day listening to my cover versions from as long ago as 1980...

I have put together a playlist of all those I've done over the years...

It runs to 14 hours and comprises 285 tracks - although this includes the 22 original songs played by the original Capital Models back in 1980 and the 10 or 12 CBQ songs which were rehearsed at the end of 2019 but, in the event, not played live at the start of 2020...

Anyway...

Up late...

And my glasses awaited...

...as did the food for the birds and squirrels...

Anne has started her next painting, a tiger, and is making good headway...

To the football at 1, moved due to inclement conditions to this barn like structure...

Once again, 3 wins out of three and a goodly number of goals scored by your correspondent...

The price for this?  Injured legs causing much difficulty in walking...

Home and Anne then went off to visit her mum and the shops...

I had a lovely lunch...

...and enjoyed the first episode of "Stranger Things", the first season - it may become a solo watch - probably not Anne's cup of tea...

Later on, Fang visited...

...and, for a change, actually spent some time with me rather than Anne...

A tasty tea from the EP and then out over to Roslin for an unpictured evening of fun with Johnny Weitzen on the drums...

In all we played for around 140 minutes, bashing through 33 new to Johnny covers, including a plethora of Brian Eno and the Velvet Underground...

Home around 10:20 and, with Anne painting, I decided to give the recording of the session a listen - only to find, to my dismay, that the file was completely blank - no doubt due to some error or other I'd made when setting up and chatting to Johnny...

Aargh!

Very disappointing indeed as it had been an excellent evening of musicking and I was looking to overdub more guitar, some bass and keys to the songs, in order to present to Keith, Paul and Stu for their consideration...

Back to the drawing board...

Instead, a couple more episodes of "Elementary" closed off the day...

Highlight of the Day : Musicking...
