Up and writing this and generally doing stuff of no consequence...

The skies looked good...

The collection awaited...

I put Anne's boat picture into its frame...

Excellent...

It accompanied breakfast, as did Brian Eno...

Gave Anne a lift to chum Debbie's house - the picture emanated from her dad's house before he moved into a home and may have been purchased for him by Debbie's brother..

It is now with Debbie and may well make its way back to her dad...

After dropping Anne off, I went down to the river...

...and along to the Ocean Terminal shopping centre for a mooch about...

Three shops with CDs in their inventory were visited...

No purchases were made...

But, post mooch, good pics were made...

Drove over to Tynecastle for today's football...

Within a few minutes my right knee was giving me extreme gyp, which very much limited my input...

A small turn out today meant one big game of 8 a side, which "my" team, or, rather, the team I was in, won, 4-3...

Back home, with scones, but Anne was not back...

She and Debbie were out on what turned out to be a 9 mile walk, which included a tasty lunch...

I put together a classical podcast for Sunday...

A Hindemith sonata, a Müller-Hermann string quartet, a Prokofiev violin concerto and a Haydn symphony...

Reasonable...

Also whittled 2005 down to my final five...

My top 10 only contains 4 of the 10 previously picked for 2005 just a few years ago...

Top 20 2005

Top 10 2005

Top 5 2005

This evening, lovely pasta and the last two episodes of "Elementary"...

It all ended very well indeed - with a few good twists thrown in...

In all, since discovering it on 29 August, we've watched 154 episodes over the last seven weeks (a week of which was "Elementaryless", due to us being away)...

On average then, over 3 episodes a day...

It certainly sucked us in...

Now we look for the next thing...

We'll see...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : The end of "Elementary"...
