Up into the dark again...

6am is reasonable...

Wrote this up for the weekend and admired the skies...

Post a breakfast of scrambled eggs and a slice of toast, out with Anne - her to meet her mum for a trip to the Gallery of Modern Art, involving cake, me to my pre-retirement workplace to do some work...

At lunchtime, staying on the wagon...

Home mid afternoon, no non food purchases having been made...

Guess who popped by (and didn't leave till after 11)...

Yep, Fang...

He soon got comfy upstairs...

A good programme on how Jeremy Paxman is dealing with Parkinson's...

The 1970's on shuffle continued to soundtrack...

A tasty chili for tea...

With pudding...

1974 was a good year...

And Dutch chum Anneli influenced me into listening to this cracker, which I had in the 70's on double LP bought at Exy Ryder in a three for a pound offer no doubt (I could look it up but won't) but which, nowadays, would cost a fortune, albeit mostly in postage!

It's also available on CD but, at over £18, I'll stick with my vinyl rip from YouTube...

155 on "University Challenge" after a rocky start...

With "Bake Off" then taking over, I retired upstairs for more listening and mucking about...

"Newsnight" re the new PM, who has, within hours, blown his "integrity" shout by reappointing thick as mince, racist, fascist Suella Braverman as Home Secretary...

Extremely disappointing indeed...

Just before retiring I was just looking at some classical CDs, as you do, which led me to search for any more in the "Edition Zeitgenossiche Musik" series from the Wergo label...

It seems not but this spurred a download of around a dozen or so new weird classical items from the label, for future investigation...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Coming home after work...
