Up and to "work"...
Podcasting...
...while perusing all new releases thus far in November 2020 and partaking of a few, plus some older stuff that popped up and also enthused...
The beast was enjoying new music...
...which ended up soundtracking most of its day...
Breakfast at home with the EP and the radio...
Some playing along to the loops for the new supposed "covers" project...
Meanwhile, "Disquietmusik IV" is playing on my mind following the attic session the other day - need to get the recordings done so that I can work on the treatments to get it all ready for a 2020 release...
Outside, it was not a day for being outside...
...and so, I remained inside...
This afternoon, as I worked on "stuff", Queen of the South beat Alloa Athletic 2-0 in Dumfries...
This was their first win in the league of 2020 and their first over Alloa since 2016...
Could it be a turning point?
Usually when some one asks if an event like this might be a turning point, it is not a turning point but let's hope it's a turning point...
This evening, as Anne cooked an unpictured but lovely steak pie with sweet potato mash and broccoli, I noted that works by Mr Weinberg coincidentally sit at either end of the shelf which holds the last 100 or so physical acquisitions...
The clarinet music was purchased in Bavaria (which reminds me I need to write up those entries!)...
...while Symphony 17, which closed off today's podcast, was bought yesterday...
Pre "Strictly" being watched - some of the judges' scoring was unfathomable tonight - wine was enjoyed and I played Anne the "Disquietsongs" album - on which she is credited as Exec Producer...
This as the first time she'd heard it - two weeks after its release...
I think she enjoyed it...
Then an hour or so of adding tracks from today's 2020 released acquisitions to the "2020 Releases" playlist...
At 10, ended the day with Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets playing early Pink Floyd repertoire at the Roundhouse in London on my 60th birthday - although they did not play it for me,...
Bed just after midnight, enthused by early Floyd...
Highlight of the Day : New music...
