Up, as (almost) always these days, early...
Scenes I see, most days...
Today, however, I was out rather than WFH...
And so, a scene not seen for a while...
The beast was getting a bus...
At lunchtime, I took the opportunity to return to Blackwell's Books and nabbed a further few CDs for a quid each...
Early vocal music...

A Frenchman in Canada on the Constellation label...
A chance taken - turned out to be good...
Ditto, African funkiness...
...and some very nice indeed contemporary but v tuneful, piano music...
Home in the dark...
...to find another two items had arrived in the mail, far out oboe...
...and, what, disappointingly, turned out to be "pastiches", which Herr Hindemith apparently found amusing to write...
Oh well, one duffer out of 8 isn't bad...
Tasty tea and "University Challenge" then, while I listened to and ripped the new stuff, Anne painted...
Later, some Modern Art perusal in this book...
