Friday and another day off from WFH...

Nonetheless, despite being a holiday, up early...

These were the views...

To uploading the fourth volume of "Disquietmusik", getting ready for its release a week today...

Then, later, out with Anne, who was off uptown to meet up with chum Lynn - so I tagged along intending to do some uptown stuff of my own...

Parked at Roseburn...

..and onto the bus - Anne alighted at Haymarket and walked to her meet - I stayed on till Newington for a trawl around...

Various purchases made in various charity shops...

The plan was to meet up in George Street for lunch at 1:30...
As I made my way down the Bridges, with some time to spare, I popped into Blackwells Books and, lo and behold, they were selling off loadsa CDs at just £1 each...

The guy at the counter said it was the biggest discount he'd ever given...

That discount was £268, over 20 CDs, acquired for just £20...

I made my way through Princes St Gardens to our meet...

..arriving bang on time...

The ladies soon appeared and a long tasty and leisurely lunch ensued...

...before a long walk back to the car...

Xmas is coming...

Anne and Lynn have been friends since school - I've known Lynn for over 40 years...

Time flies...

Home and some listening and ripping ensued...

Some chat on the Twitter about vinyl...

Here's what I have left...

And so to today's acquisitions...

This popped through the door before we headed out...

In the BHF...

I thought this would be nice Canadian music, given the mention of "New Brunswick" on the back but it's actually Swedish punk rock...

In the Cancer Research shop for £1.50 - over £30 on the Amazon - funky...

In the Samaritans...

...and in Shelter...

...this may have been a mistake of course...

I used to have this but sold it, now I have it again...

Then the Blackwells stuff...

Having sampled all of these, none disappointed - which is good...

With the new influx, no time to record this week's podcast...

Which means my Saturday wil spent mostly doing so - but, also, listening to some of thois plethora of new music...

It's all good...

Highlight of the Day : Bargain hunt...No, lunch with Anne and Lynn...
