Up in the dark...

Initially soundtracked by new downloads, my own recent music and records "falling off" the living room shelf due to recent new acquisition activity...

Breakfast...

Word from Creeker Craig re the revamping of the website - initial look is looking good he reckons...

Of course, once it's up, there will be a shitload of work required from me re bringing the content up to date...

Looking forward to that...

Then the servers went down - not an auspicious start re my new host!

Meanwhile a new drumbeat arrived from Mr Spark....

An hour later, another new song, using the lyrics written last summer when we up North for chum Jim Igoe's 50th...

The original version of the song remains unrecorded, although Mr Spark has a rough recording and the chord sequence and is supposedly working on it - that one may be added to "Sparklemusik"...

Also today, at Sparky's suggestion, tried out new "high" vocals on the song "Don't Sleep"...

Wasn't convinced by the results but they will remain in the mix, albeit in the background...

The 20:35 Extended Play now looking like this...

1 Swear to God
2 Protecting the Land
3 The Beginning of the End
4 Short Happy
5 Don't Sleep
6 The Traffic in the Distance

Later on, various stuff re the new website and back and forth with webmeister Craig...

Ended the day with the new EP in the cans as I sat downstairs with the other EP...

Highlight of the Day : New website, new EP...
