Today, up just after six...

...and to adding the acoustic guitar recordings from last night to the songs...

Hmmm...

Catching up today on the Random Record of the Day project, with these...

Roy Harper - quite possibly his best album - "When an Old Cricketer Leaves the crease" with the brass band is beautiful...

Yes' sophomore LP - thought whilst playing that it'd be nice to hear a remix with the orchestra excised...

Brian Eno's "Music For Films Volume 2" which came with the 1983 box set of 11 LPs and a 12" EP, "Working Backwards 1983-1973" - which I never had but, at some point along the way, I picked up this LP of rarities...

Today, I recreated it as the "More Music For Films" CD, release from around 2005, has an entirely different tracklisting...

This Robert Fripp LP has never been released on CD either - again I also have a digital "recreation"...

A side of Frippertronics and a side of Discotronics (featuring David Byrne on rather absurd lyrics and vocals..

An Udo Lindenberg compilation from 1976 - I also have the English version - which, again, has a completely different tracklisting from it's counterpart...

Guitarist Dick Wagner's 1st solo album...

The sound is reminiscent of Alice Cooper's around the time (1976-78) - not surprising when the players and producer are almost exactly the same...

The material though is not quite as good...

My fully signed Genesis double LP...

...which is a US pressing...

...on ATCO as opposed to Charisma...

I did not have it signed myself - someone brought it into our shop and I kept it...

Probably worth quite a bit re the seven signatures...

My German copy of Bowie's ""Heroes"" - which includes the German version of the title track...

Bought for 15 marks in Munich in 1979...

Finally, another Fripp LP, "Exposure" which, in places, sounds a lot like King Crimson - and, in other places, doesn't...

Also tonight, the return of "Holby City"...

Rather depressing as they introduced the Corona Virus to proceedings...

Late on, more art perusal...

A day of records then, mainly (and WFH)...

Highlight of the Day : Old records...
