As always, an early start...

Some mucking about and then out for "a croissant"...

Went to Lidl...

...and got considerably more than "a croissant" but it was all good...

Heading home (pic taken while pulled over and engine off)...

...to witness breakfast for the squirrel...

...and breakfast for us - Anne had the croissant and I had something I like....

New flowers had been acquired...

And then the last official day of the "holiday" (although still the weekend to come)...

As you will see from this here digital document, nothing much achieved other than some relaxation...

Today though, I did do some work on possible drum tracks for a possible covers album, having worked out the BPMs for the songs and then downloaded rather a lot of cheeky and tasty drum loops that might be used...

In addition to that, in the early afternoon, lunch with Anne and the last four episodes of "Truth Seekers", which ended up being pretty good and finished with almost everything resolved but with enough left hanging for a second series to be played out...

Following yesterday's purchases, the podcast content this week, despite all my grand ideas re "Albums of 2020", was compiled using just the new acquisitions over the last 7 days...

Which makes sense, given there are still 5 or so weeks to go of the year and there may well be plenty of releases between now and 31 December which could change things around...

Which reminded me I'd not even looked at new releases thus far in November...

One for tomorrow...

This evening, post a project from the EP to tidy out the food cupboard (while I worked on drum loops and guitar strumming), which included chucking out opened stuff with sell by dates of around 2018, another tasty curry from her expert hands (not involving any 2018 dated ingredients) was expertly executively produced...

It did, however, involve rice which she did not deem good enough but which your correspondent found to be fine...

She has high standards, of course...

The four stages of "plating up"...

It was also wine o'clock...

At 7:30, as Anne settled down to watch Hearts lose 2-1 away to Dunfermline Athletic, I retired upstairs to record the links for the podcast and then put it all together, with just a couple of botches to be sorted out tomorrow morning, before publishing...

Finished bang on 10:30, which allowed me to watch nephew Craig's footie programme for the last hour of the day...

Highlight of the Day : Podcasting...no, working on covers....no, Anne's curry...
