Up just before six and some catching up, before, inevitably, no doubt, merely falling behind again...

Nonetheless to the keyboard...

...for a couple of hours of work before WFH started again...

Updating this - including a couple of the missing days from the Bavarian trip in September...

...and work on the new album...

A new cover...

...and some judicious editing required...

Breakfast at home and Anne would be doing some art today too...

At lunchtime, out, with jaunty headgear, to post an order...

Later, the black and white beast, with its 2002 self in the background...

Some catching up too today (post long "Disquietmusik" listening), with my random LPs of the day...

The Alice Cooper group's debut from 1969...

Sparks second LP of 1974 - this, "Propaganda" and the preceding "Kimono My House" represented a quite superb salvo from the Mael brothers...

Then, quite possibly my favourite heavy rock album, Rainbow's sophomore offering, from 1976...

Followed by a kind of cobbled together but still pretty good double live LP from Yes from late 1980, post the Buggles collaboration on "Drama" but preceding it recording wise...

Then, not the best ever but it has grown on me over the last few years album from King Crimson...

"Sailor's Tale" has always been worth the entry price of course...

And, finally, Alice Cooper's last album of the 1970's, the asylum based "From the Inside", with its excellent packaging and pretty good music...

Home made chicken soup and tasty toast for tea...

Upstairs and chose a box of classical CDs at random, looking to play something on the Wergo or Col Legno labels...

This was nice and weird...

Then, some more of this, with new cover - a picture actually taken with the intention of being the cover, as we sailed across the Königssee back in September...

And so, now, it is a veritable quartet...
Back downstairs for a comeback on "University Challenge", which saw us hit 110 or so points - Edinburgh v Durham - two very good teams and disappointing that one of them had to go this early - a very tight game but Edinburgh were edged out...

Then, the third and final episode of the Hearts behind the scenes documentary - there are some pretty unintelligent people running Scottish football and, it appears, on the boards of its clubs...

Oh well, just as well it's only a game...

Back upstairs for more weird listening...

Another box chosen at random, with the same goal as before...

This too, was nice and weird...

In another booklet, this list, which could perhaps be a project...

...but that's for another day...

Finished off this day with more listening to the new material while Anne painted on...

Another reasonable day in lockdown...

Highlight of the Day : Anne painting again...
