Just made it up pre 7...

..and to finishing off the recording of the podcast...

Scenes as I obtained a coffee...

Today is nephew Craig's birthday - 34...

At that age, we were around three years into our record shop owning adventure...

Here he is a nineteen...

Out for provisions, which prompted this breakfast...

Then, to changing the covers decorating the classical CD boxes to those of the disc at the start of each box, better re knowing the content more exactly...

Around midday, what's this?

Bassist and drummer extraordinaire and chum for over 40 years, Keith was here, with his ladders, to do some work on our guttering...

The band was back together...

...kind of...

I was the wingman at the bottom of the ladder but managed some pics from around the garden too...

How does so much mud get onto the roof?

Anne temporarily removed the feeding station round the front...

Some looking at the roof followed....

...while I looked at the flowers...

...reneging on my wingman duties for a few moments...

...while looking at more flowers...

..and the waiting feeding station...

A butterfly entertained...

..before disappearing...

Back to duty and the work continued and took longer than expected...

These snails were wisely keeping out of the way...

...of Keith's machinery...

Finally, it was done and coffee and biscuits and chat were enjoyed...

Yesterday, our chum Lynn - whom I've known for over 40 years (and whom Anne's known a lot longer), also visited but was unpictured...

The rest of the afternoon was spent on two episodes of "Chuck" and today's random LP, this from the mighty Sparks...

"Whomp That Sucker" from 1981...

Two on from "Number 1 in Heaven" and Moroder is still on board but this sounds more like their mid 70's heyday...

I have 14 Sparks LPs (Alice Cooper, Yes and Francoise Hardy are the only acts by whom I have more)...

A tasty tea of broccoli based spaghetti accompanied this week's "Vera"...

Some late night listening and another Saturday was gone...

Highlight of the Day : Catching up with Keith...
