Morning Monday...

Downstairs for coffee...

To the tummy...

To the eye...

Breakfast included Quorn bacon - actually not bad...

Today's (or rather yesterday's) random LP was Lionel Rogg's “Exploring the World of Music: Johann Sebastian Bach” (Onyx, 1964), one my dad used to have and which I appropriated after “Toccata & Fugue in D Minor” was used in the original “Rollerball”...

I don’t think this is my dad’s one tho as it must be a post 1971 issue, given the flyer inside is offering LPs for 79p and 99p and decimalisation came in in the UK in 1971..

So definitely not my dad’s copy...

79p and 99p in 1971 = £12 and £15 in today’s money...

Great music...

Then, today's...

Ascension “LP” (Shock/Fusetron,1995)...

No idea where/when I got this...

Wild electric guitar and drums improvs...

Until today, it was one of the handful of remaining LPs I didn’t have digitally - but I do now, thanks to a YouTube download...

Definitely an acquired taste...

The back room remains tidy...

A new thing (perhaps)...

Radom CD of the day...

A number picks a box...

A number picks a CD...

Random CD No 1. Box No 89, CD No 22...

Tasty...

Ravi Shankar...

We'll see...

Also enjoyed all three of these today after some Twitterchatter over the weekend....

From 2013, 15 and 18 - I found the debut to be the best of the bunch...

A very tasty baked potato for tea...

...and a visit from Fang...

Loads of episodes of our favourite show "Chuck" too of course...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Bach, "Bacon" and an elusive LP...
