What day was it today?

It was the day of the multi tasker Odin, who apparently specialised in wisdom, healing, death, royalty, the gallows, knowledge, war, battle, victory, sorcery, poetry, frenzy, and, erm, the runic alphabet...

To work - a new idea today re CBQ and Beethoven...

The new room still looking tidy...

I bet Odin would like Anne’s rocking chair...

Good skies...

...and, of course, the squirrel - look at those wee hands...

Post breakfast to WFH, soundtracked by various things...

I missed yesterday's random record of the day - so here it is...

Bought 9 Mar ‘74 for £2.02 (£22.73 today)...

...and has been an absolute fave ever since...

It owes much to Annette Peacock’s 1972 LP, “I’m the One” probably introduced to Ronson by Mike Garson, who played on both...

And then, today's random pick, the Rezillos, fronted by Fay Fife and Eugene Reynolds and featuring a pre Human League Jo Callis......

...an absolute belter of an LP...

Only 32 mins but not a wasted second....

Always popular at parties from the late 70’s onwards...

At lunch time the first of, over the course of the day, three episodes of "Chuck" - I think you can safely say we've been sucked in...

Back to WFH...

Tea tonight, fish, chips, mushrooms and peas...

...followed by music work on “Beethoven”, which will follow on from “Satie” and “Cage”...

The work and listen back was followed by an extremely brisk performance of Beethoven’s 14th Piano Sonata by Glenn Gould from this tasty box set...

It's one of the few Beethoven compositions GG liked...

Followed by the Brodskys' take on some quartets...

...before bed...

...with Beethoven...

A Beethoven day...

Highlight of the Day : Creating...
