Up and at 'em...

To work on the new album, much to do...

Scenes as I ventured downstairs to get a coffee...

...and, in the back room...

My music is only on Bandcamp....

My new album (my third in lockdown) will be out on Friday, hopefully; and so, listening back closely was the order of the moment, with a view to making final tweaks...

And of course, when you’re listening back, you suddenly notice something no one else will notice and so, of course, you have to go back and fix it and change everything, even though you know it’ll take an age but, luckily, there are still three days to go....

And then, of course, there are some things which you just can't sort...

Today's classical piece was John Adams' "Fearful Symmetry" from this big box, which I have on a hard drive...

While today's random LP was this...

Michael Rother's “Lust” from 1983...

Although not as good as his opening trio for the Sky label, due to his eschewing of the guitar for synths...

...it’s still good...

All of that before breakfast...

Later on, surprise scones from Anne...

Yum...

...and a surprise visit from a squirrel...

More new arrivals...

...meant more listening to new arrivals - both those from yesterday and these new things...

Also, on this day in 1973 (and tomorrow in 1973), side two of this was being recorded...

...so I gave that a spin too...

...backwards...

...as is my wont...

Box decoration is coming along...

A second double row done this evening post "Holby City"...

Around 120 still to do...

Can't recall why I did this...

Meanwhile two painting projects for Anne - this plant box for the garden...

...and her next painting...

..which will be Autumnal...

Looking forward to it...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : New arrivals...
