The beast was about its business on Crispycat Hill...

At lunchtime a walk to the post office to return goosed headphones, already kindly replaced under guarantee...




Home with the weather holding up...

New 20 MPH limit signs are up everywhere and, for the most part being ignored...


Keeps the sign people in business though...

"University Challenge" was good - we weren't quite as on fire as last week but weren't too far behind Trinity College Cambridge who were, in turn, thrashed comprehensively by Bristol...

That was it, I think...

The Donna Lewis track Waters of March you play surely blows your thought process out of the water that there is no place for vocals in jazz?

To which I would respond - there is occasionally a place for vocals in jazz - the Donna Lewis album and , indeed the LP The Bad Plus made with Wendy Lewis, are both examples of this...
