Up at 5 but back to bed and slept till well after nine...

On Friday a shout out to Twitter as to what track people might use to demonstrate a mellotron to those not in the know was made...

As a consequence, a playlist has been formed and this was listened to this morning...

Breakfast at home then some classical music, collating playlists for the 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, with 10 composers in each...

500 years of music in 50 albums, kind of...

Also watched the three performances from the opening night of the BBC Rpoms with pieces by Coult, Beethoven (played by Igor Levit) and Adams...

I will try and watch every performance over the next couple of months...

I will try...

We'll see...

Late afternoon, with the tennis in full swing (an 8th win for Federer), took Anne down to Lynn's and drove over to the hospital for the 26th (and, hopefully, last) time in 53 days...

I was now in extreme pain re my right hip after walking stupidly last week re my left knee...

So it goes...

Mum's walking practise continued, with, as yesterday, two walks during my visit...

Packed her bag in readiness for sister Sheila picking her up tomorrow...

To Anne's mum's - with Keith & Maureen and Jane, Olly and Kitty, unpictured but back from Spain - Bob on dog sitting duty...

In fact no pics till after all but Anne and I had gone...

Home to finish off "Ackley Bridge"...

And, this afternoon, it was announced the 13th Dr Who will be a young woman...

Good stuff...

Highlight of the Day : Compiling...
