The Flaming Lips is, to be honest, pretty dreadful, the Flowers is great for fans of the Killers, like me - it is, of course, so easy for the lead singer of a band to sound like said band on a solo album and so tap into the ready made market - different for a bass guitarist perhaps...
The 3CDs of 10cc contain over 50 tracks, of which 34 are new to the collection - so that's justified...
The "Lust For Life" set contains much punk and new wave already owned but enough new to the CBQ music library gems to, again, justify less outlay than for a pint of lager...
Some leaves on the way down from the terminus this evening...
