Creating some landscapes...

Cream - Disraeli Gears
Dougie MacLean - The Collection
The Rolling Stones - The London Years
Maxwell Davies - Symphony No 4

Up early again and working on what, tomorrow, would become this...

...via this...

The title was changed from "Landscapes" I already produced a collection in 1978 with that name...

Quick recording, manipulation and basics finished...

Titles, like yesterday's piece, chosen by Random Number Generator...

..and an art book...

One track "laid down" man, before we headed out for breakfast...

Good flowers in the garden...

Nomad at Haymarket, out first visit...

Good coffee...

...with hot milk...

Porridge for Mr CBQ...

...and something the Exec Producer likes...

A drive down to Stockbridge, passing this as we walked to the main drag...

...and up to the Sunday Market...

...where tasty bread and cakes were purchased...

Doughnuts were also acquired free of charge from some young Americans promoting their nearby church...

Weird but we accepted...

A trawl around the shops produced no further acquisitions...

Back home and some mucking about with the iPlayer on the TV and some listening and some lunch...

Then, more recording...

...and, later on, some playing of actual songs...

Also, a commemorative CD burned for neighbour Fiona...

Some cooking took place in the early evening...

Red Thai Chicken Curry back on the agenda - super tasty...

...while a Pink Floyd selection was enjoyed on the TV - difficult to believe that the purveyors of this weird, quirky nonsense would produce "Dark Side of the Moon" around 5 years later...

Coincidentally (re "Meddle"), "Fearless" enjoyed - a very good series indeed...

Then, more recording...

At the end of the day (literally), five new tracks to join yesterday's one...

Good work...

We'll see...

These items are, of course, an acquired taste and certainly not everyone's proverbial cup of tea...

Shut down around 11...

Highlight of the Day : Recording...
