Up probably too early and listening to music from LPs I bought in the year of release - a new project I've undertaken (in fact doing this has eaten into the time I usually set aside to writing this blog - hence the lack of posts this week - it's next Saturday as I update this)...

In the garden next door, the family who used to live there has been gone for over 10 months - the young guys who live there now do nothing in the garden - hence this left behind plastic thing lies exactly where it was left by a departing child over 44 weeks ago....

Met with Dr Prog at 4 at the new Rose Theatre for a late afternoon/early evening performance by one of my fave groups, The Bad Plus...

90 minutes of excellence - and goodbye to pianist Ethan Iverson, who will leave at the end of 2017...

End of an era - but a new LP with Orrin Evans will be recorded in the autumn for release in Spring 2018...

I look forward to this new beginning...

Home and a relaxing evening, post just too many chips for any normal person to be able to eat, from the local fish and chip emporium...
