Up just after six and to work on a possible new soundscapes album...

...on the headphones of course...

Good light outside...

...and inside...

Along to feed Rory Custard, Tiger trotting to meet me on the way back...

Later, Anne joined me to provide some goodies for the team...

Breakfast at home...

Then, back to work...

Titles are being randomly generated...

...re pages in an Art Book...

First title...

Tiger popped by again as I listened...

Out just before 11 to meet up with Dr Prog for our first visit to the library in a good while...

I could not recall if I already had these pieces - I did well to eschew, as I do...

However, other Lachenmann was borrowed, along with Leszek Możdżer, The Weeknd and Georg Friedriech Haas...

A walk, post falafel, for a coffee...

...passing celebrations at the University...

Too may people go now - in my day only the top 7% could gain entry and a degree meant something...

Nowadays, all too often, people saddle themselves with debt for a third rate degree from a fourth rate institution and end up working at Starbucks...

Nice to get to wear a cloak though...

Post ordering coffees, Dr Prog asked if perhaps John Coltrane was playing on the cafe sound system...

In fact, it was a random busker playing his sax over the road from where we sat...

Just goes to show...

Good chat then, back to the car, having agreed to meet up in a couple of weeks...

Arthur's Seat looking good...

Out to Loanhead to check mum's house and pick up her post...

Parked a 10 minute walk from the ward and enjoyed the saunter in, carrying much postal nonsense and some new biscuits...

The beast was about its business...

This courtyard, just outside the main entrance, must surely be one of the unhealthiest places in Edinburgh, a haven where, despite all the no smoking signs, the sick go to enjoy a fag...

In...

Lift...

Ward...

Then, an hour or so, with a walk and some trying by mum to understand her bank statements...

The view from the office this afternoon...

Just before five, the walk back to the car...

...the round thing in the water is from a wheel trim...

How?

Home via Tesco, where Sea Bass fillets were acquired...

Fang the Black Cat was now visiting...

Yum...

Home made potato salad, said potatoes coming from Anne's garden...

Lovely...

Two episodes of "Arne Dahl" - hopefully it will return...

On returning to the kitchen after the Scandicrimefest, Vince, a wee black cat from over the back, was spotted jumping back out the kitchen window, having been in enjoying the final traces of the fish frenzy...

No pics...

Then, the latest "Count Arthur Strong", the previous two episodes having been what we'd watched last night and which I could not recall...

All three top notch, this last the best of the trio - the Scientology story...

Late on, some listening - the light outside remained good...

A packed Saturday...

Highlight of the Day : Recording...
