Elvis at breakfast time...

Heading towards winter...

A very complimentary piece of correspondence re the new album arrived in the inbox last night, prompting me to give it another listen this morning in the light of independent insights...

On the way down the road, spotted the world's laziest paper delivery person...

...not the young boy heading for school - no, in the car in front of him, is a lady who drives a few yards, stops, gets out, puts a paper through a letter box, gets into the car, drives another five yards and repeats the process...

Meanwhile, uptown, the Cathedral was looking good...

The autumnal tree is now completely bare...

Thunderbird Three at the end of the street...

Two miles walked at lunchtime - guess where to - and almost three miles on the way home...

...tonight, walking all the way out to the zoo - a new record - soundtracked by Eno and Grand Funk...

I like this pic...

The beast was about its business...

Back home, updates to this, tasty sea bass, not great "DCI Banks" (it'd be better without DCI Banks, in fact) and two songs on "Children in Need" marked the return of erstwhile faves, Girls Aloud...

Alas their new material seems somewhat lacking...

Brian Eno was good - he wasn't on the telly though, just on my own personal radio station, Radio Dave...

Late on, the second of a new comedy on BBC Three, "Some Girls", was much enjoyed...

Highlight of the Day : Mega-walking...
