..and a lovely, unpictured, lunch with the exec Producer at Le Bistro at the French Institute...
In the evening, round to chum Keith Apter's place to meet with him and other chum Jamie Frain...
This was our first time together in music format since our covers gig back in April...
Another gig is on the horizon, on 29 December and tonight we met to chat things through and take a look at the 35 or so songs we "learned" over a couple of days prior to the last gig...
This time, the likelihood is that Keith will play his electronic kit...
...although some other electronic percussion sources were perused by my colleagues on the net...
No musicking tonight whatsoever - we will record some stuff on Friday and move on from there...
Keith's daughter, Sophie, was used as a sounding board for possible band names...
I wanted "Big Fucking Car" - a phrase taken from a Bill Hicks book pulled at random from Keith's bookshelves...
Jamie and Keith were keen on "The Bangers" - influenced by the 5th of November fireworks blasting outside the house...
Sophie reckoned we'd be better concentrating on getting the music right first...
