Up late - 9:15 after last night's early morning...
No walks today - instead, selecting and learning another nine or ten covers to suggest as additions to the covers trio's repertoire...
Early afternoon to my mums' to find her old chair in the garden...
...and her new powered chair installed and working nicely...
Sheila and Andrew also popped by...
Other stuff from the garage was to join the chair...
On inspecting the contents of a large case being dumped, I found and salvaged my old Blue Peter annuals (Nos 2 - 15), along with two of the first books I read for pleasure...
Captain W.E.Johns' "Biggles and the Plot that Failed"...
...a Sunday School prize from 1968/69, presented by Rev Norman MacRae, who died earlier this year - and Enid Blyton's "Five Get Into a Fix"...
...a school prize from Primary 4 in 1968...
And an even older one, Joan Phipson's "A Lamb in the Family" (no pic), a Primary 3 prize from Christmas 1966...
I will keep the trio of books (along with sister Pam's Paul McCartney photo journalistic book by Hipgnosis of Wings 1976 world tour) but will take the Blue Peter's to a book shop, hopeful of a few quid perhaps - or sell on e-bay...
On to Anne's mum's for family tea...
A rather large doughnut (not really) was the pudding today, here pictured with nephew Craig's head...
Olly and Kitty were both reading, as I once did...
Olly is off to London all next week re a school trip...

Back home, some listening to Glenn Gould and some surfing and bed...
