A good day...
Researched what Glenn Gould I have...
...and made my way to Fopp at lunchtime to partake of their £3 offers, picking up five discs, two Beethoven, a Bach, a Hindemith and a Wagner - also took the 6CD Miles Davis box of his second great quintet from 1965-1968...
No time for much listening though as, once home, it was straight back out to meet up with Keith and Jamie for our first rehearsal for our covers gig on 29 December...
Rather amazingly, we managed to bang through the thirty or so songs we learned for our previous outing back in April without making too many howlers...
This time round, we are anchored to one instrument each instead of chopping and changing mid set...
A good three hours or so of rehearsals with 150 minutes of recording yielding around 90 minutes of songs as opposed to chat, discussions, false starts and attempts...
A good night...
