Difficult quartets and cages...

Playlist
Various - Last 10 Months on Shuffleplay
Alban Berg Quartett - 20th Century Masterpieces

The painful arm continues to be extrememly painful - no guitarring possible...

Much in the way of painkillers passing my lips...

Autumn is here after nearly a week of Indian Summer...

Dark skies...

To HMV at lunchtime and a 3CD set of 20th Century string quartet based works by the Alban Berg Quartett (two "t"'s, they are Austrians) was snaffled for seven squids...

Difficult but rewarding listening and it complements the 16 disc set purchased on Friday - which contains no chamber music...

Pam and mum doing fine per my call to them today - Pam chastised me for suggesting she ought to have been out walking - it was, of course, pouring with rain...

In the evening, a tasty tea comprising salmon fillet, cheddar mash and asparagus from Annie post her double exercise class (while I enjoyed some Austrian strings)...

An evening of ripping difficult classical music to the (now) "last 9 months" jukebox...

Gerhard Richter's Cage paintings were just the job to accompany the task...

Highlight of the day : Difficult quartets...
