Re-arranging the house (again)...

Playlist
Various - Rock & Pop Jukebox on Shuffleplay
King Crimson - Starless and Bible Black
King Crimson  - Discipline
Herbie Hancock - Fat Albert Rotunda
Brian Eno - Another Day on Earth
Mott the Hoople - The Journey : A Retrospective of Mott the Hoople & Ian Hunter
Kiss - Gold
Brian Eno - On Land

Dumped the "Latest Acquisitions" jukebox today in favour of the old 60GB "Rock & Pop" jukebox...

After some tasty sounds on shuffleplay, chose a couple of King Crimson albums to soundtrack - each of these is the subject of a recent re-issue which I hope to acquire at some point - although I still don't have the two albums reissued this time last year...

A call to mum mid morning and she reported Pam to be fine but, unsurprisingly, worried about what's happening...

Of course we need to wait while the Professor decides on a course of action and we hope this will be sorted in the next few days...

Meanwhile the two CBQ family members were at the local cinema show yesterday and Pam also enjoyed calls with chums last night...

She is looking forward to a visit in a couple of weeks from Julie from Hemel - it was to have been a holiday in Edinburgh for the two of them but circumstances have changed somewhat since the plans were first made...

To HMV at lunchtime - looking through the classical box sets but I realised I probably have enough for now....

Idiot...

Home on a grey dull day...

Past the cathedral once again...

No crashes today...

This time next week I may be about to play my first five-a-side match for probably over a year - I am up to number two on the subs list...

Exciting times...

On arriving home, I rearranged the CDs to give a better display to all the box sets...

Reduced the height of the columns from five boxes to four and added box sets to the top...

Perhaps I already have too many CDs...

Excellent fishcakes for tea - smoked haddock with cheddar and leek - tasty...

Then, I enjoyed just sitting in the back room and listening to some discs, beacuse that's what they're there for...

Mott the Hoople made their way onto the playlist as, tomorrow evening, I am off to the Filmhouse with Count Brodski to view a documentary on this band, one of our favourites from the 1970's...

Ripped the three Monday acquisitions and gave another listen to the much recommended "On Land" by Mr Eno...

At 10, it was back downstairs for this week's "Fresh Meat" before heading to the land of Nodsville...

Highlight of the Day : A reassuring call with my mum...
