Took the new route home past the Cathedral...
Caught an airport bus at Haymarket...
Only to be stopped at Murrayfield by police cars blocking the road...
Got off the bus and started walking...
This was the cause of the road block...
It seems someone drove, head on, on the wrong side of the road, into a bus...
Looked nasty...
Walked on and caught a bus on the other side of the hastily set up diversion...
Spent the evening reading, listening to Miles Davis and watching inconsequential TV - a "George Gently" on Tivo...
Decided to leave mum and Pam in peace tonight...
By chance, I pulled a compilation by Bert Jansch from the collection and gave a listen to his version of "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face"...
Unclouded by his recent sad demise, I'm afraid I had to deem it positively dreadful in comparsion to Roberta Flack and the superb, similarly Flack like arrangement featured on Ike Hayes' "Live at the Sahara Tahoe"...
