Meg was up early...

To FOPP at lunchtime...

...and splurged on some £3 offers...

Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Brand X, Spooky Tooth, Marianne Faithfull, Ron Carter and Webster Young...

Joining these was a £5 The Mars Volta disc and a rather expensive (by my usual acceptable cash-parting standards) Lady Antebellum disc for Anne...

Following last night’s check up on my card, today’s transaction was declined – so out came the debit card...

A call to the bank – they had put a watch on my card following a “suspicious” transaction earlier in the week...

I pointed out to them that, had they had the savvy to check back 12 months they would have seen that the transaction in question was an annual one – allowing me to post unlimited pictures here in fact...

Very annoying and time-wasting...

A bollocking was given and, suffice to say, there is now no “watch” on my transactions...

A new route home meant more walking and considerably less time spent in tram related traffic jams on the bus...

Back home, the light at the back door was fixed following a bulb failure and a couple of small beers and a tasty chicken and seafood paella followed by lemon tart were all enjoyed...

Set up and left to work itself while I relaxed with Annie and Meg downstairs, the movement of around 2,000 tracks to finally finish off the transfer of the last 9 months acquisitions from headphone-socket-goosed jukebox to jukebox No 5...

A call to my mum’s just as they were about to start watching “DCI Banks” – so a quick, “be over at 3 tomorrow” and that was it...

I must assume they’re doing ok...

Highlight of the Day : Relaxing evening with Anne and Meg...
