The snow has returned...

It's attractive but annoying...

The Exec Producer executively produced some path clearing while your correspondent watched from an upstairs window...

Bad man...

Post receiving an early morning update on Pam from her chums, we set out to meet with Dr Prog, Count Brodski having cancelled at the last minute due to the snow and his last night stated desire to visit Glasgow with the lovely Penny...

Annie was dressed for the occasion...

Again, yes the cold weather is annoying, but beautiful...

An airport bus took us to Princes St from where we walked up to George IV Bridge and the music library...

Post some frenzied borrowing of music, despite my already having far too much music, the trio retired to Blackwell Books for some sustenance/breakfast...

Dr Prog enjoyed seconds...

His raspberry and ginseng tea had a certain ginseng quoi about it ((c) Annie 2011)...

The Crispycat Duo's additional intake was confined to coffee...

Some blank CDs purchased to refurbish the supplies then, post a fond farewell to the good doctor, it was off to FOPP for me and White Stuff for Anne...

FOPP is promoting Prog Rock...

..most of which I already have, so my Xmas token was further eaten into by a wee box of Al Di Meola albums of top notch jazz fusion and the debut by Nick Cave's Grinderman - I was swayed by it's being played over the shop sound system - upon which the quality music of Gentle Giant was also to be heard at one point...

Off to meet up again with Annie...

..at the aforementioned White Stuff - her favourite shop - in fact, probably her FOPP...

Her Xmas token was fully depleted...

A late and relaxed lunch at The Living Room took care of any need for dinner this evening and we headed home around 3:30...

Arriving at the top of Crispycat Hill around four, in the gathering gloom...

...and spent the rest of the day in a warm and cosy Crispycat Towers, sheltering from the snow outside...

A surprise call from Pam early evening buoyed...

The remainder of the day was spent mostly in correspondence with Hemel re Pam and her current condition which seems to be slightly improved this evening from yesterday and even this morning...

"The Eddie Izzard Story" entertained and was followed by "Sportscene" with the, erm, "highlights" of today's cup games - both Hearts and Queens are postponed till Tuesday - which were watched whilst sampling todays borrowings on the headphones...

Highlight of the Day : An early evening call from sister Pam, even though it included the news that I have been fined and penalised for speeding on the journey back to Hemel - ironic considering so much of it was spent doing precisely zero MPH in the outside lanes of both the M6 and the M1...

PS Just for good measure, here's a pic of Pam on 31 August 2010, our mum's 80th birthday, when me and Pam took her to North Berwick...

Edinburgh looks gorgeous. It's grey and rainy here.
Glad Pam's feeling a bit better
