Up late but still before 9 am...

Meg was out front looking to eat some grass before promptly throwing it up back inside...

This is what cats do apparently...

More Roedelius and then, Rainbow as we cooked breakfast...

Burned some discs for Brodski as drunkenly requested and agreed last night – luckily we had had paper and pen handy...

Anne suggested a walk and I readily agreed...

We drove to Roseburn and walked along the Water of Leith to the Gallery of Modern Art, climbing up from the riverbank to the impressive building, formerly a private school...

Above the front door was a message for me...

We entered and spent some time enjoying the gallery’s arty offerings...

A tasty split pea and mint soup was also enjoyed by your correspondent, Annie opting for a warming Americano before we headed back to the car...

...and on to Sainsbury’s for the weekly shopping...

Meg the Black Cat has been earning some advertising fees...

We stopped by Castle Brodski but there was no one home...

In the evening an excellent chilli and tacos from the Exec Producer pre my being entertained by Mr Rother and his cohorts while Anne enjoyed some telly...

I joined her at 9 for the last of three, in what will hopefully be a first series, of “Zen”...

Off to bed post a reassuring call from Pam, still in the Royal Free...

Highlight of the Day : Out for a walk with Annie...

Hi Impossibles - yes I'll take that too!

Hi Moira - yes we did, there's one just along from the bridge - if you click on the 15 pic collage and magnify it, you can just see a wee brown figure bottom right in the left most pic in the middle row...
