Tough day for a brave girl...

Frank Zappa – Laether
Brian Eno – Small Craft on a Milk Sea
Asia – Omega
James – The Night Before
Robert Fripp – World Financial Center NY 4/12/10 (Afternoon)
James – The Morning After

Looked like the snow was returning this morning...

By lunchtime, as I walked along to FOPP, the weather had cleared...

Spent the first part of a large FOPP token received at Xmas on the second James mini-album of 2010 – on first listen, disappointing in comparison to the first...

Back home this evening and waited on Pam’s chum Michelle to e-mail an update of their visit to the Royal Free Oncology dept today...

Whilst waiting, I recorded Robert Fripp’s December NY concert to burn to disc then we watched the second part of Matt Frei’s “Berlin” on the Tivo, followed by “Big Bang Theory” and “Not Going Out”, then Michelle’s mail arrived...

A hard day for Pam as the increase in her steroids has yet to take effect and both ladies were exhausted by the time they got home...

The main news is Pam starts her six weeks of intensive radio and chemotherapy on Mon 17 January, taking her through to Fri 25 Feb - thereafter she will have around four weeks off before the next stage of the treatment (Chemo Only) starts...

Today she met with the Oncology Consultant and Radiotherapy Nurse Specialist, had her mask fitted and chemotherapy planning carried out, had a new MRI carried out, full blood tests done and Michelle also spoke with the MacMillan nurses to help deal with benefits to which Pam is entitled...

She now has a week or so of time to relax and recharge her batteries a bit before the treatment commences....

After a telecon with Michelle to thank her for all her help, the rest of the night was spent updating family and friends by phone and e-mail before heading for bed...

Highlight of the Day : Pam making progress towards treatment...
