Not the best night's sleep ever, as the lurgi are making their usual Xmas/New Year attack on me, slightly later than usual this year...
Up and a light breakfast and then out under skies we can finally see after days of mist and drizzle...
Our target was Camden Lock, neither of the ladies ever having been there before...
We found a parking spot very close by indeed and slotted our coinage into the machine to allow us a couple of hours' browsing time...
Then a short walk to Stables Market...
...where my companions immediately partook of some jewellery offers...
After more browsing, we took a break for lunch and enjoyed some tasty Chinese fayre...
Then out onto Camden High Street itself, complete with its many outlandish shop fronts...
A quick visit to the Record Exchange resulted in my first purchase of 2011, a disc by songstress Sylvie Lewis...
With Pam's energy levels waning, we walked back to the tranquil parking slot...
...and made the journey back home, using our now usual Hampstead Heath, Golders Green route...
Back home, relaxation...
We enjoyed chum Debbie's home made chilli for tea and watched "The Incredible Hulk" just prior to a wee visit from Pam's work-chum Anna...
Ended the day with new detective drama "Zen"...
Another good day...
