Undoubtedly there are things in this stash which will be opened, looked at, declared to be good but then promptly start to gather dust somewhere in Crispycat Towers, perhaps to be stumbled upon again at some point in the far off future...
In the evening, after “Coronation St” and while Anne watched Gok Wan and listened to Rangers exit the Champions’ League, I did some mucking about on Excel while listening to Dream Theater live in NY in 2001 – what a band – what musicianship...
Just ever so slightly better than The White Stripes...
Finished off with the newest addition to the collection by Art Blakey...
Then on TV, the Pink Floyd story – never great musicians any of them, but their ideas were what counted most and they knock much of what’s followed since into a cocked hat...
