Out tonight for what appears to be a possibly annual free curry – since I also attended last year and was pleased to accept an invite for tonight...
A large company with roots in Scandanavia and South Africa footed the bill...
And very tasty the evening’s fayre was too – poppadoms with spiced onions, mushroom puri, lamb jaipuri with rice, nan and potato side dish...
...and several pints of Cobra lager...

The one downside was the fifty minute journey home (probably 10 had I not been drinking and had the car with me) as I walked through wind and rain from Bruntsfield down to the West End where the automated bus stop advised a 20 minute wait for the next bus to Crispycat Towers – so I jumped on an Airport Bus and walked up the hill arriving home frozen yet sweating...
Finished off the evening with the last “Question Time” and “This Week” of 2007...
