As Anne watched TV I rehearsed my set for Saturday's gig in South Queensferry...

I'm playing again at the Two Bridges Hotel as part of the "Ferry Fringe"...

Don't know what time I'll be on but the musical feast lasts from 2pm to 5pm and features "the cream of Edinburgh's singer/songwriters"...

For a moment there I thought I was top of the bill, but as you can see it's just an alphabetical coincidence...

I put together a CD, "Souvenir XIV" which features the studio versions of the six songs I'l be playing, one of which, "The Angels' Kiss" is the most current version of a track which will be on the next CD once I can get my muse together and continue with the recording process...

At nine, we watched Richard Herring's drama on ITV1 "You Can't Choose Your Family"...

We laughed out loud a good few times and it was a promising pilot - I'd certainly like to see it become a series though it's difficult to see where it could go...

It's not "My Family" - a bit more understated but with some great writing which reflects Mr H's excellent stand up material...

As ever on a Thursday, "Question Time" and "This Week" rounded off the evening...

Highlight of the Day : Richard Herring back on TV...
