Almost at the finishing line...

Playlist
Cloudland Blue Quartet - Ersatzreal

This has been a good weekend for the new CD, with significant progress having been made...

Although I was up late following last night's escapades, I managed four hours' work tidying up songs, re-recording a couple of vocals and doing a bit of remixing before we headed into town, parking by the castle and going into The Hub with a view to purchasing tickets for some shows at this year's Jazz Festival..

Alas the box office was shut on a Sunday...

We wandered around the Old Town and had a coffee and a roll at Uncle T's Mediterranean Cafe before returning home...

I worked again on the album before we went to Anne's mum's for tea - brother in law Bobby's birthday tea while sister in law Jane was in Glasgow for George Michael - she has not very good taste in music....

Back home, finished off the album work and burned the latest mock up...

Prior to this weekend, I'd done nothing since 21 April other than listen and think...

Now, I'd say it's finished other than debating whether to add electric guitar here and there - which I probably will...

Relaxed with last night's Dr Who and the return of an old adversary - kept well under wraps - in the first of another exciting two parter...

Highlight of the Day : Almost finishing the album
