LAst day of what has been a briliant trip all round...
Packed, breakfasted and off...
First, we drove South-East to the little town of Idar-Oberstein...
Here we found this statute to the painter Rudolf Wild-Idar...
...the fine looking library...
...and enjoyed a coffee...
...before heading onwards, North-East to the picturesque Bad Kreuznach...
...enjoying a wander around and drinks by the river...
Then, to the final leg of our drive - back to the airport...
We checked in...
...enjoyed a beer...
...and searched for and found Anne's contact lens...
A triumphant end to the trip indeed"...
Uneventful flight home and we were soon back in situ at Crispycat Towers...
